Nicho Media has been in operation since 2003. In 2015 it merged with Midwinter Web Design, to allow it to provide a better service and national coverage to its existing and new client base.
Midwinter and Nicho Media’s integration into one company ‘Nicho Media Limited’, has helped reduce complexity and increase transparency within the business. Along with cost reductions, allowing a greater budget for training and development.
Nicho Media has operated in the north of England for over 10 years. Successfully building a strong client base, meaning it has grown year on year.
As Nicho Media’s customer base grew it began to cover more of the country therefore, requiring greater resources. In 2009/10 Nicho Media developed a solid working relationship with Midwinter Web Design, based in the south of England, to better help serve it’s customer network.
Over a period of years working together Elliot Nichols, of Nicho Media, and Paul Eagles, of Midwinter Web Design, developed a strong bond and friendship. This was solely based upon trust and competency. As they both realised they were like-minded individuals, wanting the very best for their customers.
Midwinter Web Design and Nicho Media formed this mutually beneficial relationship after both company owners met at a Joomla conference in Microsoft’s head office, central London. Finding out they both had extremely similar business models and faced the same business challenges.
The support provided between each company, was to primarily share ideas, training and to help with each other’s workload. The upside of this ensured both sets of customers received a prompt and continual level of service in the areas of design, development, support and maintenance. A great deal of knowledge sharing and best practice was also undertaken.
The outcome from these activities ensured the collective client base; always receive the best solutions at an affordable cost and in a realistic timescale.
Today the business continues to thrive and we thank all of our old and new customers for their continued support.
